DORSET IS A VIBRANT COUNTY WITH PLENTY TO SEE AND DO; OUR AIM IS TO MAKE YOUR STAY HERE TRULY SPECIAL

Special Dorset Cottages is run by Heather. As well as running her own two holiday cottages with husband Alan, Heather looks after six other gorgeous cottages on behalf of their busy owners, all of which are displayed here on the Special Dorset Cottages website.

Enjoy the fabulous coast and countryside and the magnificent daytime skies, walk along the beaches, enjoy great food and when evening falls marvel at the breath-taking skies littered with stars. Relax, recharge and breathe the clean, fresh coastal air.

Every cottage is bookable online, but if you’d rather pick up the ‘phone and chat through your requirements, Heather is more than happy to help you to decide which of our eight cottages is best suited to you.

All of the cottages are truly special. Our owners genuinely care and take pride in their accommodation and provide fantastic places to stay in lovely locations. Together we make a great team, and combined with our local knowledge, we guarantee you will be well looked after.

  • WE KNOW OUR COTTAGES INSIDE OUT

    Special Dorset Cottages is genuinely unique! We aren’t an ‘agency’ like the big national brands but we do a similar job (with a fraction of their advertising budget too!)

    The advantage of being small and personally run means we know our cottages inside out because we frequently visit them and are in touch with the owners regularly. We don’t just work 9 to 5 – we are able to offer you help during evenings and weekends to find your special holiday cottage. Also, living in West Dorset, we are able to offer advice and information from our own personal knowledge and experience of the area, which the big agencies simply cannot offer.
